What to eat, where to eat it and what to say to the waiter, in 34 European cities.
You land. You sit down at the picture menu across from your hotel. You cannot even name what you are eating, while the city’s real kitchen is three streets away.
That is why we built YeGez: the local canon of 34 European cities, the places that actually cook those dishes, and the phrase to say to the waiter — including whether there is pork in it.
Rome, Barcelona, Prague… all 34 cities ship with the app. They open on the plane, with no roaming.
What each dish is, what goes in it, whether it contains pork, and the phrase to order it.
Mark the sights you want; your hour-by-hour, walkable food route is computed on your phone.
Google Maps does not answer that. We marked 350 of 449 dishes as pork-free — at recipe level, reviewed one by one.
We leave a dish unmarked when we are not sure. No badge is better than a wrong "pork-free" claim.
Mark the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain. YeGez slots breakfast, lunch and a dessert stop between them by walking distance. It asks how many days you have and keeps what does not fit in a "If you have time" list.

The app is free to download. Rome is free from start to finish: every dish, every venue and route planning. You also get one free route, once, in a city of your choice; a single country opens with a weekly subscription, every city with a monthly or yearly one.
The dish and venue information for all 34 cities ships with the app; it opens on the plane and without roaming. Live Google ratings and opening hours need a connection.
The mark is at recipe level: we look at whether the classic recipe for a dish contains pork. When we are not sure, we show no badge at all. Because kitchens vary, the app also shows a note to confirm with the venue.
From your App Store account, any time. The Profile tab in the app has a "Manage" link that takes you straight to Apple’s subscription screen.
