Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms apply to the YeGez app, provided by Mustafa Emir (individual app developer; “we”). By downloading or using YeGez you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
This text is also the end user licence agreement (EULA) for in‑app purchases (subscriptions and the one‑time country pack). The Turkish version is the governing text; this English version is provided for convenience and, if the two differ, the Turkish text prevails.
1. The service
YeGez is an informational guide to what to eat, where to eat it and how to order it in cities abroad. The content for the city of Rome is free; access to the content of other cities requires a subscription or that country’s one‑time country pack (locked content may also be previewed in limited ways shown in the app, in return for a rewarded ad). The limits of the free tier are shown in the app and may change from time to time.
2. Free tier and ads
Users without an active subscription or a one‑time country pack see ads in the app (banner and interstitial ads, plus optional rewarded ads on locked content). How ads are served and how personalisation preferences work is explained in the Privacy Policy. An active subscription (All of Europe or a country subscription) or a one‑time country pack removes all ads from the app.
3. Purchases, payment and cancellation
- YeGez offers two kinds of purchase: subscriptions and the one‑time country pack. Which options are offered can vary with the app version; the current options are shown on the purchase screen.
- Subscriptions: All of Europe, which unlocks every city (formerly YeGez Pasaport; monthly or yearly), and the country subscription, which unlocks the cities of a single country (weekly). Subscriptions with other periods bought in earlier versions of the app (for example weekly All of Europe, or a monthly or yearly country subscription) stay valid until they are cancelled.
- The one‑time country pack unlocks the cities of a single country in the app. It is not a subscription: it has no term, does not renew automatically and does not end at the close of a term the way a subscription does. As there is no recurring payment, there is no renewal to cancel.
- The current price, what it unlocks and, for subscriptions, the length of the term are shown on the purchase screen, in your own currency, before you buy. The contract is formed on the price shown there.
- Purchases are made through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). A subscription fee is charged to that store account at the start of each term; the price of a one‑time country pack is charged once, at the time of purchase. The seller and the party issuing the invoice is the relevant store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term. You can turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the term ends from your store account settings: on iOS Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions, on Android Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. The “Manage subscription” link in the app takes you straight to the same screen.
- If you change device, or delete and reinstall the app, use Profile → Restore purchases with the same store account to get your active subscription and your one‑time country packs back.
- Cancellation, refunds and billing are subject to the relevant store’s policies. Refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com on iOS and through Google Play on Android. We do not process them.
- Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
4. Right of withdrawal
A subscription is a service in which digital content is supplied immediately; a one‑time country pack is likewise digital content delivered at the moment of purchase — the cities it covers unlock as soon as the store confirms the payment. By purchasing, you consent to performance beginning at once; under article 15 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation, there is no right of withdrawal for intangible goods supplied instantly in electronic form.
This is separate from the stores’ own refund policies: Apple and Google may issue refunds at their discretion, and refund requests are made to them through the channels listed in section 3. Your other rights under consumer law are unaffected. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, any mandatory withdrawal rights available to you under your local law remain unaffected.
5. Licence to use
You may download YeGez for personal, non‑commercial use. You may not bulk copy, scrape, republish, resell or reverse engineer the content, nor use the app unlawfully or in breach of these terms. Access may be terminated if you do.
6. Content you submit
For venue suggestions, feedback and “contact us” messages, and for routes you share:
- You are responsible for the lawfulness of what you write and for not infringing anyone else’s rights.
- Please do not write personal data in these fields (your own or anyone else’s name, phone number or address). How it is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy.
- You grant us a free, perpetual right to use what you submit in order to improve the product, edit the content and — for shared routes — publish it on the sharing page.
- We reserve the right not to publish, or to remove, submissions we consider inappropriate. Email us if you want your own submission removed.
7. The nature of the content — IMPORTANT
The recommendations, descriptions, pronunciations, ratings and opening hours in YeGez are prepared with best effort but are not guaranteed. Menus, recipes, prices and venue information change over time.
If you have a dietary, religious or health‑related restriction (including allergies and ingredient sensitivities), confirm directly with the venue before ordering. YeGez content is for information only; we accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on it. Data such as ratings, reviews, photos and hours comes from Google and can change at any moment.
The route feature estimates walking distances and durations; the actual route, traffic, public transport and accessibility conditions may differ. Do not use it as turn‑by‑turn navigation or as safety advice.
8. Images are AI‑generated
The dish, city and landmark images in the app and on this site are AI‑generated illustrative images. They are not photographs of a particular restaurant, plate or moment and do not depict how a venue actually plates its food. Venue cards may additionally show real venue photos sourced from Google Places; those are presented with attribution.
9. Intellectual property
The app, its design and its original content (texts, selections, pronunciation and ordering cards) belong to us. Third‑party content — including Google venue data, photos and user reviews — belongs to its respective owners and is shown with attribution.
10. Store‑specific terms
If you obtained the app from the App Store, Apple Media Services terms also apply; if from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
These terms are between you and us; Apple and Google are not parties to them. Apple is a third‑party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Maintenance, support and content requests are directed to us, not to the store.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”; we do not warrant that it will operate uninterrupted or error‑free. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of YeGez. Mandatory consumer protection provisions are unaffected.
12. Age
YeGez is not directed at children. To use the app you must be old enough to use app store services in your country.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. In consumer transactions you retain the right to apply, depending on the monetary limits, to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court at your place of residence. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence are unaffected.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you in the app for significant changes; continuing to use the app means you accept the current terms. The current version is always published at the address behind the Profile → Terms link in the app.
